  I have only used them briefly in light snow and they handled well. I have not tried other all season tyres for comparison, but they aren't the best in dry conditions. You can't expect too much from an all season tyre, but they are much better in the dry than a winter tyre. They are comfortable and despite the tread design, not too noisy.

  These tyres excel the Michelin Cross Climates they replaced on a Volvo V90 Cross Country. The Climates would fold their tread in corners, these do not. Better performance in wet and sleet conditions is also noted, even though the tread pattern looks similar. Both sets have similar noise levels, while I have yet to test them in deep snow. When buying a full set, these tyres are also significantly cheaper. The Cross Climates are bested, however, a full dedicated set of summer and winter tyres still outperforms them. This would be the Michelin PS4 paired with Vredestein or Nokian tyres. All season tyres, like these, have compromise and a dedicated set is still the best way to go.

  I'm really happy about how these tyres cope with the cold and wet weather. I got them as 'winter tyres " for my 'powerful rear-wheel-drive car' which during the previous winters was a bit of a hassle and made me very nervous to drive. After four months of using these tyres during winter, I can safely say that their grip is exceptional and I've even considered to keep them on all year. In a few weeks, I will change to my old regular tyres to compare and if these go better than the others I just might keep these tyres on for the whole year and not just winter season.
